God's Word Works
"For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, And do not return there without watering the earth And making it bear and sprout, And furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it." "The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever." Isaiah 40:8 NASB
God's word to you will come to pass! The Bible is full of promises from the Heavenly Father. If we would learn to simply believe each one of them, we would see them come into fruition in our lives. The problem is too many people know what God has promised, and yet they have trouble believing that He will actually do it for them. But don't let doubt rob you of the blessings of God! If God said it, we can believe it, and we can expect to see it come to pass in our lives!
God isn't like some people are- saying one thing, but then doing another. No! God is faithful! He will carry out His word! Whether the Lord speaks to you through the written Word or through the voice of the Holy Spirit, the same fact remains, His words cannot lie. They cannot fail. They cannot fall short of the purpose for which He intended them if we would only dare to believe!
What is it that the Lord has spoken to you? Whatever He has declared to you can be yours if you will only believe His words. If He has made a promise to you, you don't have to worry about whether or not it's really true. God's words can be trusted because they never fail! Learn to rely on God and His words. Like Isaiah says, the grass may wither and the flowers may fade, but God's words will last for eternity!
