The Strength Of Our Days
"But the salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; He is their strength in time of trouble. The LORD helps them and delivers them; He delivers them from the wicked and saves them, Because they take refuge in Him." Psalms 37:39-40 NASB
When trouble comes your way, who do you run to? Do you run to your spouse, to a parent, or a friend? Although those sources are wonderful and can be a help, they are not the great Helper! The Bible says it is the Lord who helps the righteous man in difficult times. It is He who is there to deliver you from harm's way. No matter what enemy you are facing at the present momentsickness, financial difficulties, stress- whatever it is, our God is a deliverer! He is your help!
In Psalms, it says He delivers the righteous man because he takes refuge in Him. When you serve God, you have a promise in the Bible that He will be your salvation. He will protect you when the devil tries to throw mountains of trouble your way! The problem may seem big, but God is so much bigger! Our God has the power to deliver, He has the power to save, and He has the power to help you through your darkest days. Even if your situation looks impossible in the natural, it may seem hopeless in every way, but God has never forsaken the man or woman who fully relies on Him!
I encourage you to make the Lord of heaven and earth your place of refuge. Bring Him your worries, cares, and trials. Watch Him work a miracle in your life today as you trust in His mighty saving grace!
